I previously worked with Luke Cooper and AMJ Contracts on a new development in Brixton known as The Department Store Studios.

The project was inherently very intricate in terms of detail and internal finishes that required close coordination across trades and their respective interfaces. I felt AMJ Contracts demonstrated excellent team work to help address this.  I would like to emphasise their cooperativeness particularly with the additional changes to the project during construction.  This needed to be managed carefully and I was very appreciative of Luke’s assessment on the implications to help mitigate the impact to their ongoing works at the time.

Workshops with AMJ Contracts were invaluable where I greatly valued the insight provided by Luke on matters pertaining to buildability and sequencing to optimise detail proposals in alignment with the design intent.  This collaborative exercise also led to cost savings as a result.

I recently requested a quotation from Adrian Jackson from AMJ contracts for some Monocouch render repairs to an existing building that was poorly designed and built by others.

The works were quite specialist and probably not most contractors idea of a nice job.

Adrian was very professional and polite.  He provided a prompt and competitive quotation.

When commissioned to carry out he works he was very helpful, knowledge, clean and tidy.  Nothing was too much trouble.  He and his team carried out the works to a very good standard.  They worked very well together with my other guys on site.
